GTBA Membership Application Process - Revised 20th January 2026
Necessary Revision to the Online GTBA Membership Application system.
The GTBA is a Not-for-Profit Association of enthusiastic amateur model engineers. We are a self-help group and exchange information freely amongst members through a private Members Only online forum. The reason most people join the GTBA is for the sharing of knowledge, this is usually invaluable to the newcomers to the hobby, as there are many aspects of miniature gas turbine design and construction that are not easily sourced elsewhere.
Due to ongoing anti-social behaviour by a small number of individuals, abusing our Membership Application Form, it has been necessary to remove the previously open access to this form.
If you would like to join our Friendly and Highly Knowledgeable Group, you will now need to contact us in the first instance, in order to obtain a private link to the online membership application form.
To initiate an application, simply send us your request via our "Contact Us" form above, stating that you would like to apply for membership.
As this process will now be manually initiated, please allow up to 24 hours for receipt of the application form link.
